My first time seeing this particular truck in action. As stated in the caption, this is an Atlantic series, but it shares the same Ngen tailgate as a McNeilus Meridian series. Only way a difference is told is looking at the body behind the cab.

Here is one of two half packs (that I know of, one of them being an Autocar I spotted early the other morning) , 1 of 3 front loaders from Williamsburg (3rd being a newer Mack with the McNeilus I last seen several months back). They were brought down here sometime after GFL bought County Waste out during a timeframe I am unsure of.

2024 02 28 01:13 (1:13 A.M.) TFC Recycling and Republic Services of York County VA almost an hour away from here worked out a deal where TFC would service all of their stops from what I was told a few years back. From what I’ve noticed, their stops are scarce and spread out down here but are more prominent north of the James River.

2023 12 06 13:14 (1:14 P.M). The Chesapeake yard just received this from the Fredericksburg Va GFL yard not too long ago. It’s a 2022 and it’s a very pretty truck. I don’t get the chance to see EZ Packs often as all I see mostly are Heil Half/Packs and this is a nice change. They do have a TE with a Labrie Optimizer that I seen a few months ago I plan on catching soon so BOLO for that.

2023 10 06 08:48 (8:48 AM). As far as I know, this is the oldest front end loader at the Chesapeake branch, being that it’s a 2002. The truck has some kick to it and it sounds throaty but it’s obvious the truck is almost on its last leg. It’s likely a spare as I don’t see it out as much as I used to. The truck is obviously used and very well abused but it gets the job done, nontheless.

It’s always something with these newer McNeilus’s that makes Heil weak
I'm pretty sure any McNeilus Front load series can use the CNG tailgate like this, I belive the contender and pacific can use it as well. Usually the more round version, unfortunately McNeilus doesn't make the contender or pacific anymore

@dequanteb12 Nope, neither the pacific or contender are on McNeilus website anymore, that's why there aren't any new pacific or contenders on the road

@@dequanteb12 so this is how I found out about it, so I was walking one day on Holland Rd and I happened to see 257 and that happens to be Bo's truck so when it pulled into the laundry store, I ended up seeing my buddy Dwain in the truck I'm like dude what are you doing in Bo's truck he's like Bo's truck this is my truck now and get told me that No was long gone and like didn't know that he left but I'm glad that I saw Dwain and see that truck at least once while and 237 is still around but I tend to see 251 it's a very decent Mack Mcneilus very good sounding truck.
